problem with installin i tunes

i downloaded the itunes version 7 and every time i try to run it this message
appears: c:\itunesSetup.exe is not valid win32 application. What doe sit mean?
 
just bought the new ipod shuffle. tried to download itunes. Getting the
exact same iTunesSetup.exe is not valid Win32 application message. Can't find
any info anywhere aboiut this problem? Any reasonable help out there??
 
At least I'm not the only one with this problem and no idea how to fix.

Have you guys resolved this problem and if so, how??
