Problem with Import/Export

Hi,

I have a problem with Outlook 2003. When I try to import or export to/from
my PST file, I only get messages, contacts, appointments or tasks up to
November 2003 - which is the date when I reformatted my computer and
installed O2k3 (I imported my backup PST into Outlook 2003).

I tried to repair the PST with scanpst.exe - but the problem persists.

Any ideas on how to "remind" the file that it has newer items inside - will
be greatly appreciated!

This is rather a vague question. Importing and exporting are two different
operations. I'm having a hard time understanding how and why you would need
to be doing both and how you could be getting the same results with each
operation. Provide enough detail so we can understand what you mean.
Importing and exporting are rarely operations that are even necessary.

Import: I try to import messages/contacts/appointments/tasks folders from my
PST into a new PST file -> result: only messages/contacts/etc. untill
November 2003 (the date when I reformatted my computer) are imported.

Export: I try to export messages/contacts/appointments/tasks from my PST
into a backup PST file -> result: only messages/contacts etc. untill
November 2003 are exported into the file.

It's like every event after Nov 2003 is stored inside the PST but isn't
"registered" - so when you look for it...you can't find it.

Since you are not changing file formats, I still don't understand why you
are importing and exporting. PST is Outlook's native file format. Just open
each PST in the other installation and transfer what you want. Importing and
exporting are intended for operations where you need to change file format.
Importing and exporting from one PST to another just makes bad things
happen, as you have now discovered.
