problem with graphics or pictures in IE

I am having a problem with graphics and pictures on some
websites not show in Internet Explorer . A white space
and red X icon appear instead. I have "Show pictures"
check under mulltimedia and have cleared my cache but it
is still happening.

With IE open, Go to View > Encoding. Select Western European (Windows)
