Problem with formatting after publishing

I just posted my web site with pub 03 for the first time and am having some
problems. When I viewed the site in preview, I didn't have any problems and
when I published it at home, on my computer I didn't have any problems.
However, today at work, I have some issues. You can see the graphic on the
index page and subsequent pages at www.warthenlaneinteriors.com.

2nd problem. My images on my slide show on the christmas link called
"(Take a Look)" didn't all load. I can prob correct that if I delve into it
more, but any initial thoughts on why that might occur?
Thanks

As for the images not showing, they aren't on the server.

As for the other issues, you might have better luck asking at:

microsoft.public.publisher or microsoft.public.publisher.webdesign

oh - I'm sorry.....I used frontpage 2003. I had originally used Publisher
but just re-wrote my site in FP....sorry for the confusion.

"I just posted my web site with pub 03 ..."

If that is an accurate statement it's no wonder you are having problems.
Publisher is the worst web publishing tool ever invented.

It is usually easier to use the proper tool for the job - a web editing
tool, such as FrontPage - and start again from scratch.

Your problems are probably down to the use of VML graphics (WordArt, Text
Boxes, Ms Drawing Tools) and Absolute positioning.

VML graphics should be avoided, unless you *know* your users will be using
IE5.5 and later on Windows PCs - at the moment 20% of internet users are
using Mozilla browsers.

Absolute positioning should be used with care. In my 800x600 browser the
right hand column overlaps the main content area of the page.

Measurements on a web page are in pixels, not points. The positioning at
the end of your page shows measurements in pts, good for printing,
meaningless for a screen.

Also be aware that many (37%) users still have their monitors set to a
resolution of 800x600, and some with higher resolution screens like to open
their browsers in a small window.

I made a mistake. I published my site with Frontpage 2003 not Publisher. I
had ORIGINALLY done my site with Publisher and just got through recreating it
in FP.
Sorry for the confusion

Images:
You must import all images into your Front Page web (on
your PC) before using them in your web pages. If you
don't the link to the image will point to someplace else
on your hard drive. You will be able to view them on your
PC as they exist on your PC. They will not be viewable by
others on the www as they don't exist on their PC's.

other than the fact that my home page is a little too wide, do you think that
if I removed the drawing objects those issues will resolve? For one, the box
that is moved up too far on each page is a drawing object. Should I have
just added a table and formatted the background to have accomplished that
effect?

Yes, using a table cell background colour will resolve that problem. The
other layout problems will also be resolved by using a table, or tables.
