problem with font and icon size

Just received computer back from repair. Before the font size was fine. It
was set to "Normal" and it was normal size. Now it's set to Normal but it is
quite large, so much so that I can't see many things on the page. Even in
IE, it's set to Smallest and I still can't see the entire page. I got in
touch with the repair people and they gave me the same directions that I've
already tried. What do you think happened? Like I said, before the computer
font setting was fine. We didn't change the monitor either.

Is your problem with IE only, or all Windows apps. If the latter, then
try this: Right click on the Desktop. Click Properties. Click
Appearance. Look at the drop-down box labelled Font Size. If the font
size is Large Fonts or Extra Large fonts, select Normal.

Open Display Properties, Settings tab, and increase the Resolution slide.
