Yes ... we're actually changing back to a dialup modem on our server because
we've moved to an area that does not have Broadband?

Now I'm having problems! I've installed a modem and set up a Dialup
connection to a different ISP. All is well! but when going on the internet
althoguh dialed up I can't get a web page to appear. Also the email errors
telling me it can't resolve the host.

This must be a DNS problem But I really don't know where or how to set
configure the DNS for our new ISP on a dialup modem.

Also I'm having problems setting up the server so that clients can use the
Interent connection to get on the web.

Can anyone help! I've out of ideas!

Make sure you remove the default gateway from the NIC in the system. The degault gateway should be on the dial-up adapter
now. The dial-up adapter will also automatically get DNS entries from the ISP. You can use these entries in your DNS server
configuration as forwarders if you like. To enable access from the internal clients, enable RRAS, create a DOD connection to
the ISP and install the NAT protocol. This will allow you to share out the dial-up connection.

Thank you very much!! I removed the DNS settings as you Suggested and now
emails can be collected.

Unfortunately emails don't send to the outside world, I don't know if this
is a DNS issue but it could be as when sending email it reports 'domain name
unknown'

Do you think this is a DNS issue or a MDaemon issue?

PS: I haven;t tried to do Internet access sharing yet but will let you know
when I have

thanks again
