problem with direct x

i have a 900mhz amd athlon, 512 mb, 120 gb, and win xp.
my video card is a geforce fx 5200 128mb. when i try
installing dx9 that comes with the software for the video
card, it wont install it. it extract the files then
during copying, about 40% a message appears "
ksfilter.inf didnt copy" then the application stops.
i try downloading dx9 in the website, still the same
problem, wont copy the "ksfilter.inf". i cleared all the
explorer temp files & retry but same problem. can anybody
help me? or tell me where 2 get help??? thx alot.

I was surfing in the MVP help sites and saw something about installing dx9
problems on this MVP's web page. Hopefully there is something there to help
you or maybe direct you to it.
