Problem with deleting/or viewing deleted emails

So far the solution seems to be to use Windows Live Mail. Can I install it
and not lose the messages in my existing Windows Mail?
 
Absolutely. Not only does installing Windows Live Mail keep your Windows Mail
intact, it also copies and imports all the messages.
