problem with Date picture taken on copied files to photo gallery

I just updated from RC2 5740 beta to the Legit Vista Ultimate.
I had copied all my files to a separate hard disk.
When I copied them back, it did not bring over the correct "date taken" on
the pictures. So now my pics are all out of order by date.
It DID however bring over the tags which was nice...
Any fix for this? God I hope so...

No answer yet I see, I have the same problem. I just transferred
them on my home network from my desktop to my notebook. Where in ????
does Photo Gallery get these dates from?

Frustrated!
