problem with 2 nic cards

Hello - HELP PLEASE!!!,
I'm trying to set up a VPN server. I have 2 NIC cards,
one connected to my private network, and the other NIC
card connected to my T1 line. I can't get both networks
to talk at the same time. If I disable my LAN network
card, I can the WAN network. However, if both NIC cards
are enabled, I can only see the LAN network.
The LAN NIC has a 192.168.0.60 address, with subnet of
255.255.255.0, and my WAN IP has a subnet of
255.255.255.240. Could these different subnets cause me
not to see both networks at the same time? HELP! Its
been plauging me for 2 years now!

Any suggestions?

Well, it's been two years, chances are you'll upgrade soon anyway. :)

You don't provide enough info to diagnose here. We need:

1) IP address, netmask and default gateway for *each* NIC.
2) A definition of what "see the network" means to you.

Best guess is you have two incompatible subnets set, but you don't
provide the IP of the other NIC to know.
