Problem W/ outlook 2003

Help! I'm having trouble with Outlook 2003. The other day out of the blue outlook suddenly stopped working properly. Everytime I double click on the icon to start up the application it begins to open up for about a few seconds and then closes immediately. It refuses to stay open....The Icon appears in the system tray indicating that it's open in the background, but I can't acces it. I've already done a system restore, ran Norton's utilities and ran MS detect and repair and so far nothing. I've been able to access My email in safe mode, but need to fix the problem please can't any body tell what's going on and how can I fix this. Thanks in advance! BTW, My OS is windows XP professional

Do a repair install of outlook using the office or outlook cd.

I've also tried that. I forgot to mention that earlier....

I would then uninstall completely, reboot, then reinstall.

I've done that too. Still no luck!

I'd try the outlook newsgroup then. Maybe the gurus in there can help you
