Problem VPN Connection in Windows XP Home

Hi,

When I try making a VPN connection from home (XP) to work, and have
chosen "make connection to work" I get the screen in which I should be
able to chose between dialup or VPN. Of course I want to chose VPN
here, but both choices are not available (grayed out). So my attempt
is stopped quite soon...

I am told it has something to do with configuration of XP. Can anybody
help?
