Problem viewing Excel file in Outlook

Using Windows XP and Office XP - when I try to open an
XLS attachment in Outlook, Excel starts but I get an
Outlook error message "The system cannot find the
specified file". No problems if I save the attachment and
open it in Excel, and no problems opening Word documents.

In Excel check your options
Tools-> Options-> tab General-> option Ignore other applications
make sure that this option isn't selected.
