Problem to import folders from old .PST files to Outlook 2003

Have upgraded from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003. I had
several Personal Maps (One Map containing the E-Mail for
each previous years, like Outlook2003, Outlook2002, etc.).
When I try to import the old .pst Personal Maps to my new
Outlook 2004 Personal Map (with the new format), the
folders inside each of the Map are not visible, and I am
not able to import any data at all. Is it possible to
create several Personal Maps in Outlook 2004, and how to I
create a new one?

What do you mean by Personal Maps?
Assuming you are talking about Personal Folders (PST files) they are
perfectly compatible with Outlook 2003 (also assuming you mean Outlook 2003,
since there is no Outlook 2004).
Why are you importing them?
PST files should be opened, not imported.

Thanks for the advise. Yes, I meant the Personal Folders.
When I try to open my old .pst folders, I cannot find the
Inbox any longer. Only Deleted Elements and Seach Maps.
What can be the reason for this?

It means you are opening the wrong PST file. This sounds like an archive
file.
Have you opened every PST file you have?

The strange thing is however that when I run SCANPST.EXE
to repair the file, it says no errors, and indicate that
the .pst file has 5 / 6 maps. However, when I try to open
the .PST file, it only open 2 maps (none of those are the
inbox). I have openened every PST file, and all have the
same problem.

How did you create these PST's?
You should have just copied them.
If you exported to create them, you lost data.

No, they was not copied.
They are my original .PST's from Outlook 2002 (XP Pro).
The strange thing is that SCANPST.EXE recognizes all the
maps, but when I Open the .PST file, Oulook 2003 only
finds and imports the Maps for deleted elements and
Searching Maps.

I suspect we're losing something in translation here. You're probably using
a Norwegian version where some of the terminology may be different. I'm
still not sure what you mean by Maps.

At any rate, all I can tell you is that PST files from earlier versions are
perfectly compatible with Outlook 2003. The correct way to transfer the data
is simply to copy the default PST file from Outlook 2002 and then open it in
Outlook 2003 (File > Open > Outlook Data File...). At no point should there
be any use of exporting or importing.
