Check the Apple forums - it is not an Outlook issue.

Thanks Diane.
I did as you suggested and recurring events synced correctly whether they
lasted two days or seven. Events recorded on each day they were scheduled.
I then tried a single event again and it still failed to synchronise.
Does the above information point towards a futher solution?
Thanks again for your helpp
jsflyfisher.

Hello again.
Sorry I obviously didn't explain myself properly. No the single event was
not set as recurring as I wanted to see if the other action had solved the
problem.

There is a bug either in the phone or the sync software - my money is that

Was the single appointment set as recurring, ending on the day of the
appointment?

Diane
I have just had chance to try a single appointment set as recurring, ending
on the day of the appointment. I am delighted to advise that this has forced
the software to synchronise correctly. This has provided a much needed
temporary solution until the software bug is fixed.
Many, many thanks for your help and appologies again for not interpreting
your original instructions correctly.

HELP

I had the same problem and was able to fix it the same way, recurring events
to end the same day. However, I don't want to have to do this every time.
Have you wrote to Apple about this problem? Just wondering. I'm sure they
have heard about it but I was wondering if it would help if we said something
again.

Apple is well aware of the problem, they just need to figure out what causes
it and fix it.

Have you tried removing iTunes 7.7 and installing an older version?

I just spent about 3 hours on the phone with Apple and had the same problem
escalated to Tier 2......I finally had to hang up a do some work, so they
never got back to me....they appear not to be aware of the problem - or did
not admit to it..

thanks to all for the work around....i will give it a try...and I will keep
after Apple till they get a fix out..

Diane Poremsky [MVP]

Oh, they know about it - they've had plenty of calls about it. Either the
guy you spoke with was clueless or he's trained not to admit it’s a known
issue.

Shad exactly the same problem. I spent 2-3 hours on the phone with Apple
yesterday. I ended up creating a secondary calendar (yes re-entering every
single item) and use ITunes to sync with the new calendar only! It works
very well. Only outstanding issue is that the secondary calendar is in a
sub-folder of "Calendar" and does not appear on the Outllook Today screen
when you open Outlook. I have to click on the secondary calendar for it to
appear as a 'day' calendar only. It will not load (as far as I know) to the
OUtlook Today screen. If anyone has a solution to this - that would be
great. But iPhone is now syncing perfectly!
