I have a home network, 2 computers connected via cables, one through
wireless. I have decided that I want to backup the computers to one another.
My network works fine for printing and internet, it used to work fine for
file sharing and quit about 18 months ago. Now that I want to do the backup,
I have to deal with it. All 3 computers have XP Professional. I have the
folders set for sharing, the firewall set to allow file sharing. However, I
haven't been able to backup. So I tried a simple copy and paste and get the
following message:
"Cannot copy xxxx. Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or
write protected and that the file is not currently in use."
Those items appear to be fine. What else am I missing?
Thanks in advance.
