problem setting up share over wireless network

hi all,

i have 2 XP machines and a netgear router. I am trying to set up a share
between the two. have gone through all necessary steps on both pcs but to no
avail.
both are in mshome gourp. i can ping both from router but cannot ping
machine to machine. have ensured file sharing is on on both and i thin i have
sorted out zonealarm to allow as well...

can anyone offer any ideas?

Knowing what you are seeing when you can't get the share working would help us
here. With WiFi, you can run into problems seeing other computers.

Looking at logs from "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config server",
and "net config workstation", from each computer, might help us to diagnose the
problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions
precisely (Download browstat, and install per instructions!):
