Problem Running Autodesk Viz 2005 in Windows XP

I have a render farm in Autodesk Viz 2005 set up on 7 Workstations, myself
included. These workstations are also used by the other employees in our
office. There is a problem with two of the workstations in particular when I
try to net render. My workstation, which is the fastest in the office, and a
workstation we use for conference presentations displays a "Microsoft Visual
C++ Runtime Library" header prompt stating, "Buffer overrun detected. Program
path to 3dviz.exe. A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the
program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and
must now be terminated." I tried using the fix option in the installation
software, but it continues to do this. Both of these workstations are running
backburner Server in the background. I have to stop them through the control
panel's Administration Tools in order for this prompt to stop popping up.
Could running the server in the background be the problem, or is it possibly
something else? I'm all out of ideas as to what the problem is. Vague
responses are fine with me. Thanks.
