Problem running a program on Logon using Group Policy

Outlook does not start up automatically after enabling "Run these programs at
user logon" under Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System
Logon in GP on my local computer. I added c:\program files\microsoft
office\office12\outlook.exe.
When I check in the registry I do not see the explorer key under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHING\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies.
I am in the admin group.
What can I do so that Outlook starts each time I start my computer?

Just out of curiosity, why are you trying to do this via GP rather than
simply adding a shortcut to outlook.exe in your startup folder?

Only to test GP's functionality.

Run rsop.msc and check for errors.
I suggest you post GP related questions in
microsoft.public.windows.group_policy for more expert help.
