Problem restoring computer

I have an HP mini 1159. I have tried to restore the computer through an
external hard drive and it want read. I have tried to install it through a
flash drive but im getting nothing. My system log on file is missing. Can
someone please help me?

I'm having trouble finding that model number. Do you have a web page
for the product, on the HP site ?

Does the recovery procedure in your manual, involve pressing a function
key at startup ? Or are you expected to change the boot order in the
BIOS setup screen ? There should be some hints in your manual.
