PROBLEM REPORT

Powerpoint version now in use: 2003

Version the file was created in or opened in since, if any: 2003

Windows version: xp

Other hardware involved (printer, etc):n/a

Description of problem: Reopening and running presentation

When I run my completed presentation it works fine, all 17 slides.
Then i save it to my desk top then
burn it to a cd.

Here's what happens: When i re-open it, the titles of a few slides that
were saved in blackladder ITC
font are back to their design template font, and about 4 or 5 of my
presentation slides,
transistions and animations are either non-exsistent or are not what i
saved. This happens everytime
whether i reopen it from my desk top or from the cd.

Here's what I've already tried to solve the problem:
I've tried saving the presentation as a web format, I've tried
embedding fonts, and elimating automatic layouts.
I've tried saving the presentation after setting up each slide
transistion and animation selection.

Hi,

First thing to check: Help, Check for Updates. Apply any that MS recommends.
Does that help (or have you already tried it?)

Yes i already ran updates but nothing has changed

Is the font actually installed on the PC? For example, can you start a new
document in WordPad and choose the font?

Yes the font and all of the transitions and animation came with the
program I did not add anything to the presentation that i didn't get
from the actual program, other than pictures, clip art, and scanned
materials. However, I had these problems before I added any images.

You might try embedding the font and see if that makes a difference.

However, if you're losing transitions and animations as well, that's just
plain weird.

I wonder if this might be the problem:

OK but back to my original question: can you start a new document in WordPad
and use the font? (There really is a reason for asking, trust me).
