The hyperlinks I can see, and which function correctly in page, normal &
browser view, aren't getting
transferred to the Web. Here are the links I can see in all three views:

[Design Center ] [ Professional ] [ Restaurant ] [ Retail ] [ Service ]

and here is the code:

<!--webbot bot="Navigation" S-Orientation="horizontal"
S-Rendering="graphics" S-Type="top" B-Include-Home="TRUE"
B-Include-Up="FALSE" -->

Will someone please tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? Thank-you.

How are you upload the content to the site?
Does the site have the FP2002 extensions installed?

Let's take this slow.

Thomas asked "how you uploaded". You replied you
uploaded. This response did not provide any new
information to assist in solving your problem.

Thomas was probably expecting one of two replys:

1. you uploaded your site to your host by clicking on
File and then Publish, or

2. you uploaded using FTP (File Transfer Protocol). He
would then have replied that using FTP will break the
Front Page Extensions on the host. These extensions are
required for the navigation to work properly.

If you provide folks on this newsgroup with enough input
and respond to their questions, your questions will get
answered. If you don't, people will just write you off as
wasting their time.

Sorry for the lecture but "themze the facts" of
newsgroups.

Sorry, I didn't mean to seem rude. I misread his reply. I thought he asked,
"Have you uploaded...". I did upload via FP 2002 not ftp. The links did not
show on the Web so after trying out my bag of tricks I couldn't fix it even
though the links showed correctly in Normal, Preview and in IE 6.0 when I
clicked on
the browse button.

When I looked at the code I saw the webbots and asked for help with my
problem. I tried to give all the information and organize the best I could
in my first post. I do appreciate the help I see given here and didn't mean
to seem snippy.

If you selected the Custom Link Bar component, then the server you are
publishing to, must have the FP2002 extensions.

The server extension (from Web Settings) show to be 5.0.2.4330. I think the
"5" indicates the 2002 extensions.

5... does indicate the FP2002 extensions.

You are looking at the Web Setting directly on the live/remote server in FP,
correct?

Can you provide a URL?

Yes, Tools | Web Settings | FrontPage Server Extensions version 5.0.2.4330.
I took the site down to try to figure what is wrong. I have published and
republished using different methods. I have deleted and then reapplied the
link bars, etc. but no luck. Did copying the code for the webbot help at
all?

It will be easier to attempt to trouble shoot this if you can provide a URL
