Problem printing in Paint

When I want to print a Paint bitmap the selections in the print box "Page
Range" are grayed out. The only one availabe is "All". I need to be able to
print "Current Page". This machine is on a lan with several other printers
available.

Bob, I have that choice on every other computer (non-XP) that I've run Paint
on. Paint always seems to create extra pages with nothing on them if the
picture is a certain size. If any of the picture has gone outside the border
it creates a second page to hold that piece. Once you get eveything size into
one page the blank pages are still there when you do a print preview. On a 89
machine I can select "all" or "pages", as in 1-3 or just 1. Why can't I do
that in XP?

Can't say about an 89 machine as I've never seen one ;-) But thats how
XP is. Comparing a DOS version of Windows to an NT version will turn up
LOTS of little differences. Have you tried the Scaling in Page Setup?
You may also notice that you may not correctly use a larger paper size
than the default printer supports. So change the default printer before
opening the application. Example: local printer is Default and holds
letter. Open a large 11x17 picture, and then print on a network plotter,
only a lettersize segment will print.

UG, you're right, screw it. I'll quit using a very useful little program
I've enjoyed for years because I'm now using XP, even though it is included
in XP.
