Problem opening Notepad.

Hello,

When I open any notepad files like any .txt files which
are supposed to open in a Notepad when double-clicked,
nothing happens. I double-click on the file and nothing
happens. But, notepad is opened by clicking on start -->
run --> notepad.exe and press enter.


What do you think the issue could be.
