Problem Opening Excel 2007

Tom

Hello,

After installing my Excel 2007, I encountered a quite strange problem :
Opening a new document has actually no problem but ! if I open an existing
Excel file nothing happens, I see no sheet. I need to double-click on the
file (or minimize the window) to make my sheet appear.
I've already checked in the Office or xlStartups : there was nothing in it...
Allready repaired, un/installed Excel... There's nothing to do.

That is why I've turned to you.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Best regards.

Lots of people have complained that when they doubleclick on a file in windows
explorer, that the workbook doesn't seem to show up in xl2007.

Maybe a future patch/upgrade will address the problem.

When will this patch come out ?
It's a good answer, with unfortunatly no solution.

Why does the setup create such "bug" on my desktop rather then on my clients
desktop ?

It happens sometimes--for some people. Not all the the time. Not for all
people.

Who knows when it will be fixed? I don't.

I've been using Excel 2007 under Windows XP SP2 for 1 year. I have never
experienced any kind of problem opening a workbook..
For me, Excel 2007 works the same as previous versions for opening
workbooks.
