I have 3 puters I want to setup in network - have run the wizard on all and
have workgroup name. First puter I setup I can see everyone but cant see
anyone on the other 2. When I look for other puters in my workgroup I get
error message saying it is not accessable and I may not have permission to
use this source. What do I have going on and what is the fix ??

I solved similar problem by installing the Netbeui protocol on both of my
networked systems (Pro and Home). (Don't really know why it cured things but
it did.)

Forgive the lack of knowledge in me but what is the suggested fix Netbeui
protocol and where can I get it ?? Thanks in advance !!

Woody,

Your problem is frequently caused by a misconfigured or overlooked personal
firewall, or other security component. There are several other possibilities
too, and any might be the cause of your problem.

You could diagnose the problem with "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net
config server", and "net config workstation", from each computer. Read this
article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (download
browstat!):

As Jerry suggested, you could try using either NetBEUI or IPX/SPX, but know the
risks.
