What are you doing at the time?

Trying to access a "shared" folder with "explore" on the
XP computer from my WIN2K puter..

XP computer from my WIN2K puter..
How's the sharing security set up from the XP machine? The fact it's asking
you for username and password indicates it's not running in local mode.
Is there a domain server?

Im not an expert. It's just strange to me that you're getting the
user/password prompt on yours when we dont get it on our network setup that
only has 1 workgroup defined and both machines just have a single user
Id be following leads on that if it were my machine.
Hopefully a more expert person may be able to help.
