Hi,

Anyone know why I get the error "Invalid procedure call or arguement" from
the Link Spreadsheet Wizard when I try to link an Excel spreadsheet? I have
other spreadsheets already linked into my app, but for some reason it doesn't
like this particular sheet. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Are you linking two spreadsheets or are you linking Access database to a
spreadsheet?

I'm linking an Excel spreadsheet to my Access Db app. I have several other
linked spreadsheets in my app, but for some reason it doesn't like this
particular sheet.

Have you checked the version of the Excel file?

Try creating a new very simple sheet in the same Excel file and see if
you can link to it. Try making a copy of the sheet you want to link to and
see if you can link to that.

Each of the files that I have successfully linked to I created, as well as
this one that doesn't want to link (i.e same version of Excel). I have found
a work-around however: I started with a new workbook, named the individual
spreadsheets as before, put the data in that I want to link to (on 1
spreadsheet of the 5 total in the workbook) and just linked to that. After
getting a successful link, I built the other sheets in the workbook as before
and it seems to work. I don't know what is different - there's no macros on
the spreadsheet and it's not linked to any other external sources. Oh well,
at least it works now.

Thanks for the time!
