Dear all!

I am trying to install XP Pro on a FujitsuSiemens Scaleo.
Have set CDROM as first bootable device.
Hard disk is blank (reformatted) with to partitions.

I get the message:

" Boot failure. Insert ... in drive A "

When starting up with the XP Pro cd.

Would appreciate any suggestion for getting around this.

NB: Swap X and Y in X_Y@ISP for real address

Generally not always so. your bios is setup to reconize
the "A: floppy drive first" enter your bios and look for
boot up sequence record, change the order from A: floppy
drive to CD-rom drive as the first of order, save bios
setting and reboot.

Hi!

Thanks for your answer.

As you see in my text I did just that. I even (dispair) set all to CDROM (3
possible places). Same result.
I am now looking at updating the BIOS (a computer manufactured 2001 with a
BIOS from AMI, it shuold be able to handle this).
