Problem installing Windows XP Home Version

Hi folks:

I tried several times over the weekend to install the
Home Version update of Windows XP on to home computer. My
system currently users Windows ME.

Each time I got nice blue stop screen with the
following message:

vserver(01) + 00004d7d Error : OE : 0028 : c173c92d.

Anyone have any idea what this might be related to and
what I might be able to do about it? Thanks in advance.

Preliminary research suggests this is because you have
Office Excell installed. I would suggest that if you have
Microsoft office installed then uninstall it and try the
update then reinstall office. Not sure if this is the
answer but it has taken about 1/2 hr to come up with the
Office excel angle. Keep smiling.
