Problem installing Sidewinder Precision 2 Joystick in Win2K

Although the software says it installed successfully, when
attaching the hardware, the install wizard stops with a
message can not find 'hidusb.sys' and I can not locate
such a file anywhere, any help out there?, please respond,

Hi Warren,

The file should be in the drivers.cab in the i386 directory of your Windows
2000 CD. It should be copied to the winnt\system32\drivers folder.

You may need to go to microsoft site as you need a different driver if
you have a VIA chipset. I wasted hours on a machine till I went to ms
knowledge base and found this gem of info. D/l and it was ok in
minutes.
