Hi guys.

I got myself one of these:

http://www.club-3d.nl/productshow_vga.php?gpu_brand=Nvidia&ordercode=CGN-G668TVD&show=&p=&filter=

To put in one of these:

http://www5.pc.ibm.com/uk/products.nsf/$wwwPartNumLookup/_VLE7DUK?OpenDocument

Machine is running XP Pro SP2. Installed the card in the slot and switched
on. There is no output from the new card, I have to keep the screen plugged
into the orignal onboard card. When I boot windows, no card is detected.
Nothing in device manager and an manual "Add hardware wizard" doesnt show
anything.

I have installed another normal PCI card in the machine and it works fine.
The PCI-E graphics card works in another machine OK, so I know the PC and
the card are both functional.

Thanks in advance.

Robbie

If you actually have the card you said the specs say it is an AGP card not a
PCI express card

Have you enabled PCI-E graphics in the BIOS?
