I have an old program that was written for Win2000 that I am trying to
install on WinXP. The program was never updated to WinXP. The problem I am
running into is this: I start the installation from a CD and then it asks
for the next CD to be inserted. When I insert that CD, WinXP does not
recognize the file types on the CD and comes up with the Open With Dialog
Box which disrupts the installation program and it stops at that point. Is
there a setting that I can make in WinXP that will prevent the dialog box
from coming up so that the installation can proceed or is there anyway to
work around this problem.
