Problem importing ZIP codes from Excel 2002 into Outlook 2003 cont

When I import ZIP codes from Excel into Outlook any leading 0 (zeros) are
truncated (e.g. 02026 imports as 2026). I have tried setting the cell format
within Excel to both Text and Zip Code without success. Visually within Excel
the Zip code appears correct, but does not come into Outlook with the leading
0's. Any ideas?

As an aside, you should always mention the major/minor version numbers of
the products being referred to - just makes it a lot easier for anyone
answering a question instead of having to ask for it should it be relevant
to the question at hand.

Notwithstanding that, a quick solution around this issue is to save your
worksheet as a CSV file and import that file instead. For whatever reason,
the Outlook import wizard is interpretting your Excel column as a number
field which I'll leave to others to respond to.
