Problem Getting it to Work

t just installed Internet Explorer 6, but when I try to
open it up, i just get the "page cannot be displayed" I
don't know if I have to redo connections or something, i
have cable not dial up so I don't know if there is
something different, i could really use some help

Sophie,

Assuming Windows XP: Go to Control Panel / Internet
Options / Connections tab, and click on the Setup button.

If your modem connects directly to the computer, select
the first item (default). If you are using a router, then
select Setup a Home or Small Office Network. In either
case, follow the prompts until it tells you that it has
finished, and you should be done.
