Dear Reader,
I am using Outlook Express to read email. I cannot click on a hyperlink and
go to the web page pointed to from within an email message in Outlook
Express. When I do so, the computer locks up and I must turn the power off.
However, I can successfully go to the web address pointed to by a hyperlink
in the same email message if I first copy the URL address and then open up
Internet Explorer and paste that address in the address box and press enter.
Do you know why I cannot go to a web site by clicking on a hyperlink within
an email message that I'm reading in Outlook express, but I can successfully
surf the internet from Internet Explorer directly? Is there a setting in
Outlook Express that would control this behavior? Any help would be
appreciated!
Thanks,
Keith
