Problem downloading large files

I have a Sony Vaio caption running XP Pro/SP2 that I'm connecting to the
latest Linksys wireless router running 802.11N.

Attached to the Linksys router by RJ45 connection will be a Buffalo
Technology Buffalo Terastation 1TB NAS RAID1

I'm installing this device to act as a main repository of my very large
downloads.

My question is when I download large files; they appear to be written to a
Cache locations on my hard drive, then get copied to the location I initially
instructed windows to save it to.

If I'm downloaded a 500 Meg file, how do I setup Windows to write the file
one time in the final folder instead of writing it in a temporary location
then in the final location.

Thanks,

Tony

You don't. Downloaded files via HTTP always pass through the Temporary
Internet Files before being copied to their final location. You could
exclusively use FTP download links instead but many sites don't offer the
choice.
