Problem downloading Bridge

Daisy

Hi there

I have recently had a computer problem - not serious. I used to be
able to play Bridge on MSN.games.com but now it refuses to download
the bridge program. Can someone tell me how to check if I have
downloaded XP Windows Service Pack 2? I'm pretty sure I have but I
do like to play bridge on MSN and would dearly like to get it back.

Thanx and happy new year.

To check if you've got Service Pack 2 installed:

Start
->Type winver and press ok
--> a new window should pop up stating your Windows version aka Version 5.1
(Build 2600 etc etc: Service Pack 1 or 2).

Not sure on the Bridge problem though.

Thank you and I did that and yes I have got SP2. My problem seems to
be security settings. I use Windows XP Home. When I had the long
power shut-down, it seems to have affected my security settings and
the MSN.Bridge program won't download - it gives me a message in red
that says my security settings won't let it do this - and tells me to
click on Install to install something called ActiveX. But there is no
install button to click!

Do you know what I do to restore the old security settings? I am
unsure how to use System Restore.

Thank you.
