Problem cpu frequency

I have a problem mine notebook acer tm 514TE has the
frequency of the CPU 466mhz but when I install windows
2000 it puts the speed of the cpu to 233mhz me reduces the
fsb to 33mhz while with Windows 98 and windows XP it does
not happen sapete why? excused my English are Italian

This sounds like an ACPI/Power management issue. Make sure you're using
Windows 2000 SP4, and ACPI is turned on. Make sure also that CPU throttle
or Speedstep are turned off, or to their lowest possible values.
