I have the sony dcr-dvd100, this may help you. The MM
soes not recognize the format of the sony, which comes
with USB and not firewire. This is what I did, using the
USB cable and the software that came with the camera, I
loaded the images onto my computer. I then used the
convert to mpeg feature to save all my files as mpegs.
Then I imported the mpegs into my collections on mm.
