Hello All.

I had a booting problem with my PC. I could not start my operation system in
normal mode. It was working only in Safe mode. Also when windows start I had
a following error message: "The procedure entry point ThunkConnect32 could
not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

I searched Microsoft Knowledge Base and found article 330159 that explained
my NVIDIA display card issue.
Microsoft subjected to reinstall video card drivers. I found the correct
drivers and reinstalled it. After this, my PC won’t boot at all. Even in Safe
mode. Black screen appeared and then windows hang. I have to kill the power
to turn off. Please help.

Thanks,

Val

Can you get as far as the operating system mode select?

If so, try Last Known Good configuration.
Let me know if it works! :)

Damien,
I have tried "Last Known Good configuration" and I was able to boot my PC.
:) I still getting "The procedure entry point ThunkConnect32 could not be
located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll" error. Also video card and
sound card drivers disappeared. I downloaded new drivers from the NVIDIA web
site, but soon as video driver get installed I start having the same problem.
(comp will not boot anymore)

What does it mean? Is that possible that my video card is bad?

Thanks

Val
