When i send a mail with text only, all runs OK.
When i attach a little file of any type, the progress send bar goes
normaly to 100 % then a error occurs but in the error description
window there isn't anything. The mail stills in the outbox folder but
curiously the mail is sent. The problem is the error rised and the
mail is re sent avery cuple of minutes.

Thanks

Jordi

Hard to say with any specific configuration information. My guess is that it
is your virus scanner. Disable its integration with Outlook and try again.

Most likely an antivirus app that is scanning outbound mail. Disable this
integration and try again.

Another possibility--while not too common--would be if you are connected to
one ISP and using another ISP/company's mail server for SMTP. In the past I
had some internet customers that used our mail server for outgoing (via SMTP
authentication) but had cable internet through another provider (I don't
recall why they wanted it set up that way). They could send a text email
fine but nothing with an attachment. They could even use a dialup account
with another provider and it would work there, so it was clearly something
with their ISP.

After giving them ammunition to fire at their ISP, it was finally determined
that they had SMTP filtering enabled on their cable internet network.
Essentially any SMTP message over 30KB in size that was being sent using any
server other than the ISP's had problems (either tarpitted or blocked
entirely). They changed their outgoing mail server to the ISP's and had no
issues after that, which was fine as that's the way it should have been to
begin with. :)

Thanks but i tried to totaly dissable my Avast antivirus and the same
result

I tried too the same outlook config in other outside PC and runs OK,
then I thin is somethin in my windows. I use XP Pro withi Outlook
express and had them updated to the last release (automatic update
every day)

The mistake occurs 5 days ago, before this all was OK. May be a new
microsoft mistake trying to repair other problems....
