Problem after FeaturePack2007 and UpdateRollup1update

The image I built before these upgrades worked fine. After installing
the updates I get the blue screen when it tries to boot.

I want to remove these updates and do it one step at a time to
determine if it is FeaturePack2007 or UpdateRollup1, and then maybe
what part is causing the problem.

Can I remove these updates or do I have to remove everything and start
over?

You should be able to remove UpdateRollup1 from your development machine
using Component Database Manager and couple manual steps. The steps are
detailed in the install guide for Update Rollup 1 under the topic "How to
Remove Update Rollup 1.0 for Windows XP Embedded".
