problem accessing macro

Hello I just created a simple macro that would run a form that just says
hello to my presentation. Its saved with the actual presentation but when I
go back to powerpoint I select the text that i want to trigger it and right
click go to action settings and the option to run macro is gray and I can't
select it. And yes the macros are enabled. Any suggestions why it won't let
me select the macro? Thanks!

When you say "go back to PowerPoint" do you also mean that you opened the
presentation that includes the macros? You'd have to do that in order for them
to be available.
