Probably a virus - what do I do?

When I am utilizing Microsoft Internet Explorer, I am
able to browse around, search and use the "hot" keys, but
am unable to use the bar at the top (ex. File, Edit,
etc) I am unable to close the windows in Internet
Explorer once I have opened them, unable to close pop-ups
in any way. I can minimize them to the bar at the bottom
of the screen, but am unable to close them at
all...unless I shut off my computer. What do I need to
do? Is this a virus or some other problem? HELP!

Sounds like you might have the W32.Swen virus. Go the to the Norton Anti
Virus web and try downloading the Fix and seeing if it works although it
sounds to me like you might have to do what I did and that is to reinstall
WinXP. Does this happen when you try and run other programs as well? i.e.
they do not open or run?
