Private set as default

My outlook is set up that it makes all contacts private without my checking the box and the box is not checked when I hit save. Where is it in the set up that I can change the default?

You don't mention your version of Outlook but...

In Outlook 2000:
Open your TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS...
Click the E-MAIL OPTIONS... button
Click the ADVANCED E-MAIL OPTIONS... button

Near the bottom of the window is a framed area "When
sending a message". Look for the SET SENSITIVITY box
and if it is set to PRIVATE, change it to NORMAL.
