Hello. We own a family computer. The other day my younger brother was playing around and he some how managed to make it so we are un-able to access his folders from our user. He doesn't remember what he did though. All the users are administrators. It is very annoying trying to send files back and forth when it I am denied access to adding files to his desktop. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using windows xp professional or windows xp home edition

check for the Sharing and security tab folder and see the privileges granted to each user.

Hi:

The first link will probably be enough to share the folder.

How to: Set the My Documents folder private in Windows XP.
