Private appointment

I would like to remove a private appointment I put in my outlook (I work with
Outlook 2003) but I can't. I cannot even click on it to cancel it. Please
help.

What happens when you try? Any error messages?
Which mail account type are you using?
Is this an appointment item or a meeting item?
 
Nothing hapens. I can't open it and it's a meeting item. I don't understand
the question about mail account.

Are you the organizer of the meeting?
Does it work in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Type of mail account; POP3, IMAP, Exchange, HTTP, Outlook Connector,
Exchange, other...?
