I have two user acounts on my version of XP Pro sp2 both set up as
administrator. I can log onto my account and view the files in my partners
account and have set my documents to 'private' using the 'sharing and
securities' options. The problem I have is that when i log onto the other
account, my documents are open for viewing, as if they weren't made private
int he first place.

Can anyone help, i find this a bit weird!

Any adminstrator account will see the files in all other accounts.

Sorry Rock, but that's not the case. The 'Sharing and Security' options for
files and folders are honoured wherever they are applied in XP using normal
logging accounts.

Can anyone else help me?

I think then I would take a look at the individual folders secutity
settings as far as whats really been applied then.

You got it Bob, thanks my friend, it seems that XP doesn't like me setting
the sharing and security options for the 'my documents' folder from the start
menu, I had to use windows explorer to manually locate the folder myself and
change the settings from there.... very frustrating... Sometimes you can't
see the wood for the trees!
