Prints wrong color

I have a Cannon s800 that does not print the color
selected in Excel. The color is darker than what I have
selected. I have up to date drivers. I have done the
install-uninstall procedures with no results.
 
It's often darker than the color selected. Try a lighter shade for the
background. I've come across this on several different versions of Excel
(2003, 2003, 2000, 97) and many different printers. Since all applications
print just fine, I have always put it down to Excel itself.
